So Reggie hadn’t been able to gure it out yet…in case that
wasn't obvious.

It’s been his obsession for 6 months now.

And it’s the reason his wife left him and took off to New
Jersey with his two boys.

When Reggie told me the part about the code and how he
couldn't crack it…

It felt like all the air got sucked out of the room.

All this just to come to a dead end?

And at that point Reggie said he had to go.

But I wasn't going to give up that easily.

We agreed to meet again in the same spot that Saturday.

So I left the library and headed to my co-worker's house to
crash on his couch for the night.
But on the way, my mind was racing.
